Greetings and thank you for your interest in my modest adventures.

I am drawn to the rugged and remote. Recently I have been increasingly torn between fast and light dayhikes, wildcamping, trekking expeditions in the high-mountains, and mountaineering. There are just too many objectives to pursue. Adventures in the Nordic Arctic have been a staple of the last decade for me. As much as I love that region, my outdoor goals were greatly expanded by a first trip to the Himalaya in spring 2024.

Currently, I live the two dimensional life in one of the flattest, lowest, and most heavily developed parts of the world. Hopefully someday soon I can liberate myself and start to enjoy regular weekends out in local hills again.
